§ 115-5. Ethical campaign practices.

Upon becoming a candidate for an elected public office, a candidate shall obtain from the supervisor of elections the statement described in section 115-6 for the purpose of voluntarily executing said statement and agreeing to abide by the ethical campaign practices established in this section. A candidate's decision regarding whether to execute the statement is strictly voluntary.
