§ 2-99. Central stores.

(a)

Control and supervision. The control, supervision and administration of the county's central stores shall be the responsibility of the facilities management department (or such name as that department may be hereafter known by) or such other department as the county administrator may designate. Said department shall be responsible for developing accounting and inventory procedures for materials, supplies or equipment stored in central stores.

(b)

Accounting procedure. Requisitions for supplies in central stores shall be credited by the director to central stores revolving fund by a charge against the appropriation of the using agency.

(c)

Inventory. The director shall maintain a perpetual inventory record of all materials, supplies or equipment stored in central stores.
