§ 2-226. Limitation of powers.
Latest version.
The powers and jurisdiction of the Commission on the Status of Women shall be purely advisory and persuasive. The Commission on the Status of Women shall not have any power or authority to subpoena or compel the attendance of witnesses. The Commission on the Status of Women shall not have power to appoint officers or employees of the County or make any decisions related to policies of the County. The Commission on the Status of Women shall not manage, control or administer any institutions or programs of the County.
