§ 2-257. Established.
There is created and established a public body corporate and politic, to be known as the county housing finance authority, to function in the county in the manner and having all the powers and authority of a housing finance authority provided by the Act. The authority shall adopt rules, regulations, and program guidelines as needed, which shall become effective only upon approval by the board of county commissioners. Any and all fees earned by the authority shall be placed in a separate fund and the board of county commissioners shall determine how those funds may be utilized through the county administrator or his designee. However, any funds earned may be used only for low- and moderate-income housing and related housing bonds advertising and closing costs.
