Article III. REGULATIONS PERTAINING TO SECURITY ALARM SYSTEMS |
§ 66-74. Duty to respond to premises immediately upon notification by Pasco Sheriff's Office.
When responding to an alarm on premises where:
(a)
No authorized persons are present;
(b)
There is evidence of a break-in, attempted break-in, or tampering with the alarm system;
(c)
An audible alarm is continuing; or
(d)
A deputy determines circumstances may require the presence of a responsible party.
The Pasco Sheriff's Office may notify a responsible party to respond to the premises for the purposes of conducting a security check of the premises, resetting the alarm system, performing other necessary action(s) on the premises, or to receive warnings and/or citations pursuant to this article. Failure to respond to the premises immediately upon such notification is a violation of this Code.
