Chapter 70. PARKS, RECREATION AND NATURAL RESOURCES

§ 70-14. Fires; disposal of flammable or smoldering materials.

No person, other than county-authorized personnel, shall ignite or attempt to ignite any fire on PRNR property except in designated fireplaces or grills. Fires in grills and fireplaces shall be completely extinguished after use. Natural materials taken from PRNR property (such as wood) may be used in designated fireplaces and grills only when provided to patrons by PRNR personnel for that purpose. No person shall dispose of burning matches, smoking materials, smoldering materials, or other flammable items except in designated and approved containers, and in a manner approved by PRNR personnel.
