§ 70-2. Scope of regulations; area embraced.

  • The regulations in this chapter apply within active parks, passive parks, preserves, trail systems, and conservation areas owned, leased or controlled by Pasco County, Florida. Active parks are those which provide active recreation to include athletic fields, courts, recreational centers, and pools. Passive parks are those which provide passive, resource-based recreation in a natural setting. Preserves and conservation areas are those properties purchased through the Environmental Lands Acquisition and Management Program (ELAMP) to conserve and protect natural resources and communities, native vegetation, wildlife and habitats, and ecological functions and systems. Collectively, these areas are called PRNR property and facilities in this chapter.
