§ 94-47. Service areas.

The board of county commissioners is authorized to designate certain residential areas as service areas for the purpose of lighting public streets. Additionally, the board of county commissioners, upon receiving a petition signed by 51 percent of the property owners within a proposed service area and an accurate legal description of the proposed service area, may designate that area as a service area for the purpose of providing street lighting.
