§ 214-11. Administrator and inspectors.

  • The board of county commissioners of Pasco County is authorized and directed to establish a division of consumer affairs, which shall be operated under the administrative direction and supervision of the county administrator. The board of county commissioners shall have the power to appoint an administrator over this division, subject to the approval of the board of consumer affairs and appeals, and provide for the hiring of such other personnel as necessary to perform the duties prescribed by this chapter. The board of county commissioners is authorized to expend such funds as necessary for salaries and operating expenses as is necessary to effect the purposes of this chapter.
