§ 6-28. Hours of sale.

  • (a)

    All places of business which are licensed to sell alcoholic and intoxicating beverages within the county may be open for business and sell and serve alcoholic and intoxicating beverages in accordance with the license under which they operate during the following hours:

    (1)

    From Monday through Saturday of each week, between 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. of the following day. Resorts, as defined in this article, may sell alcohol until 3:00 a.m. on the following day.

    (2)

    On Sundays, between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. of the following day. Resorts, as defined in this article, may sell alcohol until 3:00 a.m. the following day.

    (b)

    No alcoholic or intoxicating beverages may be sold or served at any other times than those specified in subsection (a) of this section.

    (c)

    On each New Year's Eve the time for closing at all places of business which are licensed to sell alcoholic and intoxicating beverages shall be extended to 3:00 a.m. of the following day.
